PRITAM & EAMES opened in East Hampton, New York in 1981.
The gallery’s name soon became synonymous with the finest work
being made in the American Studio Furniture movement
and its celebrated group of furniture makers,
with their distinct personal style of work,
provided convincing proof of America's strength in the decorative arts.

Over the years there have been a number of pieces
showcased at the gallery that have become classics of
the American Studio Furniture movement. Below is a pictorial selection.

After 36 years the gallery closed its New York location
and now represents artists’ work on its website, which can be viewed
by clicking on Current below. This online representation will continue
PRITAM & EAMES’s tradition of showcasing outstanding work by
prominent American studio artists.
